The Kentucky Area Development Districts provide State Agencies with high quality statewide data collection and most important, maintenance.

Statewide Road Centerlines - We collected high precision GPS road centerlines for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and provide periodic updates to keep this dataset current.  Review the Transportation Website GIS Our Kentucky for Details of the project.

Statewide Water and Sewer data - We developed and maintain the statewide geo-database of Water and Sewerlines for the Kentucky Infrastructure Authority.  This database is used by the Authority and the Kentucky legislature to prioritize new construction. The geo-database has an inventory of existing infrastructure, including water tanks, water and wastewater treatment plants, sewer discharge points, water intake structures, water and sewer lines, water pumps and pump stations, sewer lift stations as well as, proposed water and wastewater infrastructure for the entire State of Kentucky.

"The information collected by the ADD's has contributed greatly to the ability of KIA to present information clearly to the Governor and the General Assembly. This has resulted in the efficient processing of many water and sewer line grant requests..." Jody Hughes, Executive Director KIA.

"As Chairman of the GRADD Water Management Council, the water and wastewater information collected by the ADD has been instrumental in the planning and coordination of projects in our area. We are better equipped to make informed decisions concerning the most appropriate requests for funds based on the delineation of unserved and underserved needs." Judge Executive Larry Whitaker

Statewide Address Ranges - We are in the process of producing a statewide address database, keyed to the Transportation road centerlines for the Kentucky State Police for use in their Public Safety Mapping System.  Other public safety organizations will share this valuable information.

"The Centerline Mapping and Addressing has greatly improved the Emergency Responders and Law Enforcement response to the location and render the appropriate needs and care to the residents of the County in a much more timely and sufficient manner."  Carl Chaney, Lewis County Emergency Management

“The Road Centerlines with Address Ranges are assisting me tremendously with defining voting precinct boundaries.”  Frances Cotterill, Mason County Clerk
